Miss Africa USA Teizue Gayflor’s visit to Liberia will not be complete without meeting the government officials to introduce herself and her mission in the country as the Reigning Miss Africa USA. Her love for children took Miss Teizue Gayflor to Liberian orphanages to visit orphans who had survived the war but lost their parents. The children were of all age groups from babies to teenagers. Miss Teizue spent time volunteering at the orphanages and donated gifts for the children.
Miss Bridget Moses a Georgia based African Designer designed some of the outfits for the contestants. The pageant MC for 2005 Ms Emelia Orubele kept the audience excited and engaged through out the night. Miss Africa USA pageant was first launched in Atlanta Georgia in 2005 when 17 young women from different African nations resident in Georgia took part in what was then called Miss Africa Georgia Pageant.
